Mesh & Perforated:

Mesh & Perforated: Diffrent materials, open Weaves, perforation, laser cutting and mesh. Sheer fabrics An cutaways For a Diffrent look that Can be either sporty or luxurious. sheer fabrics dominate our wardrobes the challenge in using them however, persists to make the outfit look polished rather than perverse. Anthing to mske it look casusl, whether it’s by a well-placed chiffon top or a sheer summer dress. Other names for this trend also known as the perforated, modern cutout or open weaved trend. Mesh can either be adapted as an alternative way to carry the sheer trend or be churned out of the sporty look for the season. This trend is more about the fabric than a particular outfit seen on the runway, for obvious reasons of course. I chose the model above because her dress gives of a casual look as well as a sporty look. Comparing as well as contrasting at the same time.

At The Office

At The Office: Business an business casual ready wear. Cardigans, oxford button downs, men's chinos, tailored paper boy shorts, blazers, oxfords an boat shoes. Mostly neutral colors some dramatic color pops of reds an some blues. I chose this image above because it shows multiple ways to pop out this look. Its a common trend that grows with more detail year after year. My favorite model in the image is the guy with the cardigan paired with the white shorts an shoes. His look is very simply, less is always more. The cardigan or jacket resembles that of a collegial garment, the shorts tailored just above the knee showing all leg. I like the gigantic scarf on the other model as well very edgy.

Biker Bikerette

Biker Bikerette: Using basic black an white to make a large impact. Trend is said to get inspiration from, "Minnie Mouse". Colors like black, white, pink an some shades of red. Model shown in picture is wearing loose flow feminine dress, which shapes body well. Layered with tougher outerwear to add structure an texture followed by simple accessories. The black leather jacket underlines mood an contrasting the feminine cutting of the dress to the jacket. I chose this image because it gives a better representation then the other images i found which were more rough and grunge. Those of a hardcore biker.

Fine N Dandy

Fine N Dandy: Trend ties in vintage wear an structured men's apparel. Blazers, suit jackets, slacks, oxfords an other simple accessories. This is a new trend not a really popular one but when done correctly it defiantly is received. Trend somewhat imitates the old school gent and puts modern day spin on it. With adding scarfs in addition to men's handbags that are a sure statement. Dressed in the classic black an white topped with a derby the gentleman's frame seems to sit in the garments. Handbag an shoes add a athletic look to the trend tieing in the modernized look. Frames an scarf work amazing together an add a unique pop of color.

Goth

Goth: All black wear, leather some lace. Studs an hardcore embellishments, boots, an chains. This trend has been around for years. I personally wouldn't call this a trend but more of a life style with all that goes into. Trend usually associated with all black clothing that looks Erie or reflect that of a rocker. There is a lot of edge that goes into the overview of the trend followed by the whole rebellious persona. This woman has a casual approach to the trend but still pulls out the dominate traits of the trend. Layered in all black an roped of with not only a leather jacket but the detailing of the sleeves consist of a mesh or lace like material. Personally I feel likened look could be a lot more cleaned up, as well as pieces could be added. I did choose her because there's so much I would add like more studding an possible chains to her waist like, added a smokey eye an dark make up. Hair would have been work down topped with a hat.

Eighties Layers

Egithties Layers: very layered an structured trend. Focuses mostly on the use of vintage clothing an the pairing of it. Colors are mostly calm an neutral some loud burst of colors. Accessories enhances the look greatly, items like eye wear, hand bags, buttons, etc. The model in the picture above exhibits the trend very well. There are a number of ways to approach this trend, the approach tooken above shows a number of layers an textures. Base of the out fit is a solid color crew neck which helps the neck wear stand out above the detailed button up overlapped with the denim jacket. The bottoms consist of dark denim to throw in contrast of the entire outfit.

African Pocahontas

African Pocahontas: Trend works with chic African patterning contrasting an individuals natural beauty. Form fitted an knee length dress wear, or mid thigh. Vibrant colors an detailed hand patterning African garments gives this trend it's unique edge. Needed neck wear an wrist wear added along with flat shoes. When trend in use hair usually worn down an straight. This young lady in the image has on a beautiful, "Kudinda" African style gown. Colors of the gown contrast amazingly off the frame of her body an skin tone. Minimal neck an wrist wear draws your attention to the center f the garment, an allows you to examine it in a whole. Low shoes, flats or moccasin style preferred.

Formal Grunge

Formal Grunge: This trend consist of men an woman formal wear. Solid colored button down shirts, graphic t-shirts. Straight legged or skinny denim, shades of blue, black, an grey. Oxford shoes, over sized boot, or combat boot. Paired with grungy or earth toned accessories. I chose the image above because it has a funny color story. Each color flows perfectly with the placement an overlapping of certain garments. Detail is coordinated not only in the clothing but accessories as well. The shoes tie into his neck wear an belt. Denim as well as shirt work well together. Placing the graphic over a Oxford shirt ads not only layers but draw attention to neckline. Added tux jacket gives pop of color an great use in formal wear.
